This is the reason why I try to visit zoos early in the morning and stay until they close for the evening. This tiger had been sleeping all day, but finally decided to go for a swim just minutes before the zoo closed to the public.
It was so quiet, one could hear the sound of the water down below, but such a shame that only three other people got to see this beautiful cat enjoying a peaceful moment in the pond since most visitors already cleraed the parking lot. NOTE: Animals might snooze most of the day but will eventually pose for someone... So might as well be you the one catching them in the act on your camera!
