About this African Lion: he was born and raised as someone's exotic pet. When he grew from a tiny cub into a full-grown lion, he escaped from the house and ventured through the neighborhood (more than once). Neighbors were concerned, even though he never attacked any people or animal for that matter. Later, he was brought to the zoo and this is where he lives among other lions.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
