LOVE the title!  I've watched these birds all of my life but I never see them close to the ground like this!

Don't let that jay fool you. He's standing there secretly plotting how he can make both of them go away. Blue Jays are smart cookies and I've seen them do some odd things for the sake of entertainment.

As always amazing pics.  What kind of camera do you use and how much patience do you have to take these AMAZING shots?
BTW poor blue jay.  Is it a mountain jay? I once had to catch a live Steller Jay with a towel and escort it out of my house because my cat brought it in. >_<

Thanks, this is a Blue Jay, common to the eastern side of the country.
