About this exhibit: there are plenty of trees providing shades to two mature Sumatran Tigers (a male and this female); the surrounding is mostly covered with bamboo and tall grass; a rocky area with a cave undearneath; also two ponds and a connecting waterfall. Two windows are available for viewing at each end of this exhibit.
I have previously posted a narrower version of this image, but here it shows more density of the overgrown plants... just like in a jungle.

It's an older exhibit but well designed considering this small zoo's limited budget at the time. Sometimes smaller zoos provide closer attention to their animals.

So...do you dangle meat in front of the window to get these massive animals to always look directly at you??? Another great shot Anthony!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
