Unlike domestic horses, the Przewalski’s Horse (endemic to Mongolia) always has erect manes?

yeah i kno the history bout the mustangs in North America. Spain brought them over in Mexico as some kind of work horse.

Yes and no...
Yes, simply because all subspecies or breeds of horses evolved from common ancestors millions of years ago. Thus, they all share familiar genetics.
No, because a "mustang" (feral horse in North America) is a free-roaming horse of domesticated ancestry--brought by European explorers and settlers some 500 years ago. The Przewalski’s Horse, however, has never been domesticated and is truly a wild horse and therefore they aren't closely related.
