Found this young lion cub away from the pride, doing its part to get the glass a bit cleaner by licking all over and wiping it off... However, it was another one of those good intensions but bad ideas.
For those of you that wonder, this kind of dirty window is basically what I have to shoot through when visiting zoos... just have to find the cleanest spots and you're in business!
Toooooooo Cuuuuuute! Will you look at the size of that wash pad. Its almost as big as his head. The capture of the expression is so priceless, so intent on what its doing.
U r complaining about taking pic through dirty window when the lion have to clean the glass by licking? I'm sure the lion would love to trade place with U.
It's weird to see lions behind glass Here in the Antwerp Zoo, they sit outside all the time so you can see them well from behind a fence.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Fur shall set me free.
This is so adorable! I would have loved to be there and see it myself. It must have seen a human wash the glass sometime and was probably imitating it, though we can probably never know for sure

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
